Mentor Principal‘s Experience Inheritance Information Network (http://mentorprincipal.org/english) focuses on the five core elements. There are“Understand School”, “Designate Principal”, “Promote Mission”, “Reconcile Conflict”, and “Career Development”. These five core elements are closely related to the process of developing professional principals. By using this website, we expect principals to be able to integrate the experience of school management to construct the knowledge system of professional development for principals.

Website Homepage Description
At the top of the homepage from Mentor Principal website, there are six photo slides. The photos are taken at the focus group discussions which were participated by scholars and principals. The slides have a special function to directly link the main page to the video and the contents of the focus group discussions.
At the left part of the main page, there is a list of main menu which includes the name of the website, homepage, news & events, about mentorprincipal.org, mentor principal’s interviews, professional development for principals, practical discussions, research theses, references, principal’s communities, excellent principal profiles, e-paper, principalship network, and about the research group.

This part briefly shows the stages which are shared by experienced principals. We divide them into four stages “Exploring”, “Constructing”, “Maintaining and Innovating”, and ”Mastering and Application”. You could understand the origin and the aim of the website from the script and the pictures found inside this item.
2.Understand School
This part of “Understand School” consists of “Collect school information”, “Understand schools in depth”, “Make strategies of managing schools“, “Integrate and use resources”, and “Visit key person”.
3.Designate Principal
This part of “Designate Principal” includes “Plan an inaugural ceremony”, “Prepare inaugural speech”, “Listen to department presentations”, “Listen to suggestion in private”, “Read administrative documents”, and “Use decisions made in the meeting.
4.Promote Mission

And we hope that this would enable readers have better access to find out what they want to know and learn from the excellent mentor principals of Taiwan.
Future Prospect
The future prospect of this website is as follow:
1.We will translate the website into English. We expect to have English and Chinese versions of the website.
2.We continue to enrich and update the contents of “Mentor Principal‘s Experience Inheritance Information Network”.
3.We will go on interviewing and conducting focus group discussions with excellent principals from Northern, Central, Southern, and Eastern Taiwan.
4.We will conduct random sampling to choose principals all around Taiwan to carry out “the satisfaction of after using the website” questionnaire survey.
5.We will promote the using of “Mentor Principal‘s Experience Inheritance Information Network”.
In the future, we expect that the website will be able to support principals to develop professionalism into his job, assist principals to manage the school more effectively and efficiently and creatively. We expect principals to be able to construct the knowledge system of school leadership and school management. This website will become a platform for interaction among principals to share their precious experiences.
